For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. ROM 8:18 KJV
Is our suffering worthy of or equal to the glory which will be revealed in us?
It seems as though when we are tied up with our burdens, worries, and pains, a stuffiness and a stiffness sets within us that prevents us from achieving revelation of glory.
When we focus entirely on our suffering we strengthen our appetite for worry.
Focusing on our suffering clouds our way going forward.
When we worry we feed our suffering. Moving from worry to glory requires us to release our burdens to God.
Glory is revealed when space is opened within our heart and mind to receive it.
Let Us Park and Pray
Holy One, God of all righteousness and glory. Release in us your glory. Move in us the glory of your presence. Live in us Oh God. Reveal your glory now and evermore.
Help us oh God to recognize and receive your grace and mercy. Merciful God, release our burdens and help us overcome our suffering. Fulfill our desire for peace in the valley, in the storms and on the mountain tops of our lives. May the glory of the Lord rise upon us. Praying in our Savior’s name. Amen
Amen!
