Lord have mercy.
Almighty God, please help those who are terrified and suffering as a result of the train crash. Bring peace and stability to them and the situation. In our Savior’s Name. Amen.

Since the tragic Sandy Hook shooting, Over 500,000 Americans have been killed or injured by guns
• Nearly 242 school shootings, according to Everytown for Gun Safety (https://everytownresearch.org/school-shootings/)
• Over 1500 mass shooting incidents (defined as four or more people shot in an incident), according to the Mass Shooting Tracker (https://www.massshootingtracker.org/data)
• There has been no congressional action to #EndGunViolence with three failed gun violence prevention votes in the Senate and no votes in the House of Representatives
Let us Pray
Almighty God, we park our lives for a moment of pray with you. O God, help us to know your presence among us. O Love Divine, your Light awakens us, renews us, refreshes and revives us. During this Season of Advent you call us to stay awake, wait, watch and beware. Merciful God, help us to be mindful of the days when our Savior was born and the challenges we face today. Guide and comfort us as we remember the Victims of Gun Violence, that continues to threaten our lives. O God, we pray in our Savior’s Name. Amen
