A Prayer for Voting

Almighty God, we are grateful for Your guidance as we exercise our freedom to vote for our nation’s next President. 

God,  help us make choices that affirm Your righteous desires and plans. We ask for an equitable and peaceful voting process during and after this election.  Help us to advocate for those who are often overlooked and to support leaders who will champion the causes of freedom, justice, unity, equity, inclusion and accessibility. After our voting may we continue to pray that our next President has a  heart that’s open to the needs of others, the wisdom to address the needs of our Nation and strength to build on our relationships throughout our world while reflecting Your wisdom, love and grace in words and deeds. Amen.
