O Merciful God, words cannot express our sorrow for the people in Maui. Hear our prayers for the people in Maui County, Hawaii. Inspire many to support them. We hope all who perished were caught up in the clouds and carried on angels’ wings .Almighty God, we pray for lives lost, and all who are wounded and suffer. Merciful God, receive the prayers for all who are missing, all gravely ill, and all who grieve the loss of loved ones. May all experience the presence of the Holy One, as a constant Source of Peace. Oh God, satisfy their needs and bring them comfort. God, soothe their pain and the effects of such horrific trauma. Bring peace to those grieving the loss of families, friends, neighbors, and community. God, help them to know You are present and all their needs will be fulfilled each day. We pray they are comforted.Loving God, You promise You’ll never leave or forsake us. You promise eternal life. Gracious and Loving God, we give thanks for the recovery of 111 lives in Maui County Hawaii. We pray for the entire territory and all people stricken by devastation.
